greasy taint

Kanye West has put out some catchy good stuff (Gold Digger) in the past. But I’m impressed with his latest single, Stronger, that is a remake (or sample?) of Daft Punk’s Stronger. I’m a huge Daft Punk fan, so I’m always happy to see different versions of their work.

And I really like the music video. It’s very Japanese-y, but goes well with the song. According to this site, the video is a remake of the famous Akira movie (Wikipedia article on movie). I have not seen the movie, so I cannot confirm.

I found this while I was searching for pictures of croquettes for a previous post, and thought it was funny. So I would like to share it with you. I hope you don’t mind.

Who? Some Japanese fellow

What? A deep fryer that sits on top of a fish tank. The boiling oil, which as we all know is less dense than water, stays above the water, and makes for a very neat, and practical aquarium. And the fish get to eat the crumbs of whatever was being fried above. Also I imagine that this prevents the food crumbs from burning up, and tainting the oil. So you might be able to use the oil for much longer than you otherwise might. More details here.

Why? Cause the Japanese are crazy cool and possibly have lots of time on their hands

The video is in Japanese, but you can figure out what he’s talking about. All I know is that he mentions and is deep frying croquettes. And I love those damn things. You could put your poo in a croquette and I’d probably eat it.
