I have moved a lot. After graduating from university in 99, I have moved 9 times. Scary, I know. And as far as I know I’m not running from anything. You’d think by now I’d be good at moving. Efficient even. Not so. I still don’t “have it down”. Probably because I procrastinate or am too lazy. In fact I threw away some stuff during this move that I’ve had since college and haven’t used once.

Either way, the most interesting part of my move is the very last part. I’ve always found my very last haul from my old place to my new place very curious.

Before I go into details I wanted to share another observation. How come the towards the end of a move, what seems like should fit into 1 or 2 containers actually ends up taking a helluva lot more? Is it just me? I figured being somewhat analytical it wouldn’t be so hard for me to estimate such things.

Anyways, here are the contents of my last container moved in my most recent move :

1 scale (used to weigh my being)
1 swiffer duster pack
1 bath towel
1 pack cheerios
1 can of raid
4 candles
5 refrigerator magnets
1 can wd-40
1 bottle of frebreeze
1 network cable
2 luggage tags
1 pack of rubber gloves (no questions please)
1 tray to hold utensils
1 polo shirt
1 remote control car
2 unexpired condoms

The name of the restaurant on the right makes me laugh. Yes I know I’m a waste of organs. Tough.
